Dextrin is a chemical compound with a chemical formula of C6H10o5, the molecular mass of which is variable. The appearance is yellow or white powder.

Dextrin Types:

Yellow dextrin has a solubility of 80-95 % range. White dextrin has a solubility of 30-90 % range. The use of dextrin along with sodium silicate raises the smoothness of the sand and prevents the grinding effects in cast iron and steel.
